There is an anxiety about publishing [[What these notes are|these notes and pages]] publicly. Pages previously written, even with foreknowledge of them being read by others suddenly have potential for scrutiny. One of the philosophies of the [[Commonplace|Digital Garden]] concept is to still write for an audience of only yourself. In practice, I have rewritten many sentences as they suddenly sounded glib, arrogant or just very half baked. Some of this anxiety should be overcome by the upfront statement that these notes are in constant flux. Additionally the tension of writing for yourself but with the relative pressure of a *mostly imagined* observer should in theory create a synthesis where thoughts are not left without evidence or reference for too long. ––– #### See Also [[Open Design]]
