Providing help to someone who needs it is the basis of all cooperation. It rarely needs to be more complicated than, ‘if you have the ability to help, then just help’. Various [[Ideology|ideologies]] distort the enduring simplicity of this, expecting those who need something to prequalify, to present themselves acceptably, to prove that the help will be repaid. Or that there is a monetary or misery threshold that being below or beyond would mean help is deemed inappropriate. Those whose business model is gatekeeping help are not to be trusted. Help outside of a monetary exchange is the simplest transaction humans can make. Sometimes the way we learn about help and sharing when we are children, really are the most complicated it ever needs to be.
